School Start 

School will reopen on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Please read the following information to help you plan your child’s back to school.

School Supplies

We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to purchase your school supplies through School Start for the 2026 – 2027 school year.

Order early, and you will be entered in one or more contests!

Once you click on the link for School Start you will select a specific grade level supply list: 

  • All items are required on the supply list. You must “pick and chose” what you need to purchase. You may have some of these items on hand or want to purchase on your own.

There are three ways to place your order:

  1. Parents go to https://schoolstart.ca/, and click on the following:
    – Parents Shop Here
    – Purchase School Supply Kits
    – Select Province, then City, then School
    – Click Here to Purchase
    – Lastly, they click on their grade and proceed from there

    The supplies will be packaged and delivered to your home.

Students will not need to bring all their school supplies the first day of school.

Bell Schedule

Please note the following bell schedule for the 2026-2027 school year:

8:55 a.m. warning bell

8:58 a.m. Instructional Bell

10:20 – 10:35 a.m. Recess

12:07 – 12:57 p.m. Lunch

3:00 p.m. Dismissal

Kindergarten Students

Gradual entry makes for a smoother transition as students adapt to a new school environment, new teachers, new classmates, and new procedures.  Students initially attend for two days in a smaller group before the whole class is together on the Monday of the second week. The amount of time then gradually increases until the students are attending through the lunch hour and for a portion of the afternoon.  The first full day of school is Monday September 21st.

Early French Immersion Kindergarten Students: Please note that we will be splitting our students into 2 groups:

  • Students with last names from A- L are in GROUP 1 (for Early French Immersion Kindergarten Students ONLY)
  • Students with last names from  M- Z are in GROUP 2 (for Early French Immersion Kindergarten Students ONLY)

English Kindergarten Students: ALL English kindergarten students will be in GROUP 1

Grades 1 – 7 STUDENTS

FIRST WEEK: SEPTEMBER 8 – 11

 Class begins at 8:55 am until 12:00 pm on the 1st day (Tuesday, Sept. 8th)

Regular school hours: 8:55 am – 3:00 pm for the rest of the week (Wednesday – Friday)

Students will enter/exit through the entrances from the LABELLED DOORS until they have been assigned to their new classroom.

NEW students please report to the GYM.

Visitors MUST sign in at the office when entering the school.
